the weather was beautiful saturday, a perfect central park day. 
the funny thing about new york is that it's always new no matter 
how long you've been here [and for me, that's my entire life] you've 
never seen it all. i had that moment when...

i passed "the diana ross
playground" [i know!]on central park west and 81st street. the sign
alone was worthy to be framed.

    I have never seen that Diana Ross Playground either and I have lived in NYC for many years. I met her once at the Plaza Hotel but I no longer tell that story as everyone just looks at me as though I am telling some psychotic lie.
